The Nivala Sports Centre Ltd. is a Nivala town owned company responsible for the production and maintenance of sporting and physical activities in the region. Since the beginning of the year 2009, the Nivala Sports Centre Ltd. is producing and maintaining all the services for sporting facilities in Nivala town. The office can be found at Uikko: Kalliontie 59.
Nivala Sports Centre Ltd. was founded on 17th January 2005. Before that Jokilaaksojen Jäähalli Oy, Ice hall at Jokilaaksot area Ltd., was founded in 1992.
The ice hall was completed in 1995 with the swimming hall being completed in 2006. Nivala town owns 98 % of the company’s share capital. The Nivala Centre for sports and physical exercise belongs to the Nivala town group of companies.
The Nivala Sports Centre is composed, apart from service for physical exercise, also of Uikko swimming hall and ice hall in Nivala.
